Our Client:

Our client is an Australian owned Co with 30 years experience in the Building Service industry, located in modern premises in the St George area.

The Role:

This position will require you to work alongside the MD to ensure business processes are implemented and to continue to grow the efficiencies within the business. 

This is a leadership position, managing a small team. There is some flexibility with working hours.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Financial Accounts
• Month end reconciliations and period end closedown
• Co-ordination on monthly WIP
• Ensure all statutory obligations including BAS, FBT, Payroll tax and Superannuation are lodged and paid on a timely basis
• Co-ordination of bank guarantee requests
• Review of Financial controls and reporting systems
• Overseeing the processing and weekly and fortnightly payroll
• Oversee, support and mentor accounts staff

Skills & Attributes:

• Excellent communication skills
• CA or CPA Qualified
• Chartered experience
• At least 2 years experience working in a busy commercial environment
• Strong communication skills
• Quickbooks experience preferred
• Strong Excel skills

Hours: 8.00 am - 4.30 pm Monday to Friday 

Salary: $90-$95K + Super
