An innovative and passionate family Co with 10 years in the Audio Visual industry, designing and providing technology for Exhibitions, Conferences and Special Events. They have a wide range of clients and specialise in complex projects, using state of the art technology.

The Role:

Working very closely with the Sales Manager and the Service Delivery Manager you will be responsible for Managing the Assets and Logistics of the Sydney Warehouse, ensuring all requirements are met for the Co's events and exhibitions.

Your role will include Asset Management, Team management, Logistics & Health and Safety.

Responsibilities:

Asset Management

• Manage the assets and logistics of the Sydney Warehouse to enable the delivery of the audio visual requirements for events and exhibitions
• Manage and direct warehouse operations to deliver operational excellence
• Manage asset/stock control including inventory checks for upcoming events
• Collaborates with the NSW State Manager to assure the best possible supplier support for all assets
• Accountable to achieve and improve warehouse KPI's to ensure operational excellence and deliver financial outcomes
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
• Work with the Service Delivery Manager to resolve and rectify customer issues

 Team Management

• Provide direction, leadership and coordination to technical team and for support and maintenance of all assets assigned
• Promote company values and culture. Lead by example and promote an upbeat, positive and efficient team
• Recruit, manage, train and motivate both full-time and casual warehouse staff
• Work closely with the Service Delivery Manager to ensure the technical team have all of the relevant and correct information for jobs
• Plan work, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
• Project manage the logistics for Sydney and Queensland based jobs
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security

 Logistics

• Provide guidance and recommendations on asset transfers / re-deployments to meet company needs
• Manage the asset transfer process between states.

Health and Safety

• Promote a Zero Injury culture through personal adherence to all company safety policies practices

Skills & Attributes:

• Proven experience in Warehouse/Asset management with a minimum of three years experience
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Leadership skills with ability to motivate and organise teams to deliver results
• The ability to deliver to short lead times, under pressure when necessary
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiasm and initiative with focus on customer service
• High level attention to detail
• Time management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritise and deliver to deadlines and quality standards
• Creatively minded with the ability to think outside the square

Salary: $75-$85K + Super dependent on experience
